Quick Links to Solutions by Transponder:
Rockwell Collins TDR-94/94D ADS-B Out Solution
Our FAA and EASA Part 25 and Part 23 AML STC’s cover nearly every known aircraft flying today with either the TDR-94 or TDR-94D. The STC’s cover the pairing of four different WAAS GPS Receivers to the Transponders:
- The Universal UNS-1(-)w FMS
- CMC CMA-3024 - Provided by DAC International, DAC-3024 ADS-B STC kit
- Rockwell Collins GPS-4000S (in Pro Line 4 and 21 aircraft as well as standalone installations)
- FreeFlight 1203C WAAS/GPS Receivers
- Honeywell HG2021GD07 GNSSU
Our ADS-B Out Solution's provide for an ADS-B Out failure annunciation installed in view of both pilots, as required by the FAA regulatory guidance. Our FAA Approved AFMS provides concise instructions to the pilot during this abnormal event.
We developed and implemented two devices to accomplish this, the Digital Discrete Adapter (DDA) by Skylight Avionics and an ADS-B Out Flight ID Adapter (AFID) by Shadin Avionics, which provides Flight ID when the installed controllers, don't.
The CMD Solution's using the DDA, properly annunciates an ADS-B Out failure, when Flight ID is provided to the Transponders via the installed controller or Universal Avionics. It has a small footprint and is easy to install.
Optional Installation mounts, mounting hardware and wiring harnesses are available.

The Certified ADS-B Out Flight ID Adapter (AFID) by Shadin Avionics, allows the Flight ID to be set at the time of installation (or registry change), and drives the ADS-B annunciator. The AFID provides a much less expensive Solution to those filing Flight Plans under their tail number.
Additional benefits of the AFID:
- Provides for an ADS-B Out failure annunciation
- Provides a fixed Flight ID, i.e. Tail Number satisfying 14 CFR 91.227 for most Business, Regional and Personal Aircraft
- Removes the requirement to change or update ATC Controller(s) in many Federated configurations – up to an $8,000 savings
- Removes requirement to change Collins RTU’s, CDU’s and IOC’s in Pro Line IV/21 - up to a $20,000 savings
- The AFID provides data concentration of IOC, FMS/IRS or AIS/ADS data buses, if necessary, adding the Flight ID parameters, and allowing a complete interface to transponders.
Optional Installation mounts, mounting hardware and wiring harnesses are available.
